Another Successful Generation Broxbourne Event Inspires Future Professionals

The fourth annual Generation Broxbourne event took place on 18 March 2025 at the Spotlight, Hoddesdon.

Hundreds of students from local secondary schools, along with more than 30 employers from both local and national businesses, attended the event showcasing opportunities for young people. Year 10 students from schools and colleges across the Borough of Broxbourne had the chance to engage with industry and sector leaders to learn about the career opportunities available to them in the future.

The event was funded by Broxbourne Council and the Hertfordshire Opportunities Portal (HOP), which is managed by Hertfordshire Futures.

HOP is the premier gateway in Hertfordshire to explore careers advice and opportunities around apprenticeships, skills training and engagement with schools.
