Residents in Broxbourne are being urged to apply for free energy-saving upgrades following an extension to the deadline.
Eligible homeowners now have until 15 November 2024 to begin their application for the Home Upgrade Grant, a government-funded scheme to make homes warmer and better for the environment.
The scheme is funded by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, managed by the Greater South East Net Zero Hub and Broxbourne Borough Council.
The deadline for submitting properties for funding approval has been extended to ensure as many people can benefit from the free energy-saving upgrades including solar panels, insulation, low carbon heating and more.
All works must be completed before the scheme ends on 31 March 2025.
