On Sunday 10 November, there will be services of remembrance across the Borough to honour those who gave their lives during the world wars.
The Mayor of Broxbourne, Councillor Sherrie McDaid will attend an act of remembrance and wreath laying ceremony at the memorial at the rear of the Almshouses, Turners Hill at 10.40am.
The Leader of the Council, Councillor Mark Mills-Bishop will represent the Council at the Remembrance Day commemoration in Broxbourne. The ceremony commences at 10.15am at St. Augustine’s Church, followed by the act of remembrance at 10.50am at Broxbourne War Memorial in Broxbourne Recreation Ground.
There is a remembrance service being held at 10.50am at Goffs Oak Methodist Church with St James Church. Then at 11.30am the Deputy Mayor, Councillor Patsy Spears will attend a wreath laying ceremony conducted at the memorial.
Finally, Deputy Leader, Councillor Steve Wortley will attend an act of remembrance and wreath laying ceremony conducted at the memorial in Hoddesdon at 10.45am.
