Broxbourne Borough Council, in partnership with Blue Cycle Training will be running free Learn to Ride lessons for children aged between 8-16 years this October half term. The three-day programme is designed for beginners or for those who don't know how to ride.
Lessons will take place at Wormley Netball Courts, Wormley Playing Fields, Church Lane, EN10 7QE from Monday 23 to Wednesday 25 October, between 9am-12noon.
The Learn to Ride cycle lessons will provide a fantastic opportunity for children to learn a new skill together and enjoy the great outdoors during the holidays. Participants will have access to bicycles and safety equipment, and the experienced Blue Cycle Training team will be on hand to provide expert tuition and support throughout the programme.
Councillor Dee Hart, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Health, said: "We're thrilled to be working in partnership with Blue Cycle Training to provide this fantastic opportunity for families in Broxbourne.
“Cycling is a great way to stay active, enjoy the outdoors and have fun with friends and family. We encourage everyone who is interested to get in touch with our Community Development Team and book their place on this exciting new programme."
