The ballot of businesses in Hoddesdon town centre on the proposal to renew the Love Hoddesdon Business Improvement District (BID) has now been completed. The result of the ballot was a vote in favour of the BID being renewed for a further five years.
Councillor Lewis Cocking, Leader of the Council, said, “This is fantastic news for Hoddesdon. I am elated about this result and looking forward to working on projects and initiatives alongside the Business Improvement District in the future to continue improving Hoddesdon for all residents, businesses and visitors.”

The BID has been set up to carry out projects and initiatives in Hoddesdon town centre funded by a levy on the business rates of the town centre shops and premises. Businesses within other town centres in the Borough are encouraged to consider setting up a Business Improvement District.
