A Service of Remembrance for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II which will take place in St Mary’s Church, Cheshunt at 7.15 pm on Sunday 18 September 2022
The service will be attended by Members of the Council, civic guests and community representatives. Members of the public are invited to the Service of Remembrance to pay their respects.
At 8pm, the National Moment of Reflection will be marked. This will be a one-minute silence that will be observed across the country to pay respects and honour Her Majesty The Queen.
A book of condolence has been opened at the Huntingdon Suite, Bishops’ College, Churchgate, Cheshunt at the following times:
- Thursday 15 and Friday 16 September , 8-10am and 4-8pm
- Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September, 9-11am and 2-5pm
Books are also available in each of the Borough’s libraries. Library opening times can be found on Hertfordshire County Council’s website www.hertfordshire.gov.uk.
