View upcoming events at the Spotlight
There is a varied programme scheduled to keep everyone entertained this summer at the Spotlight in Hoddesdon.
Back with a brand new show, Some Guys Have All The Luck, The Rod Stewart Story, returns to the Spotlight on Thursday 14 July, at 8pm. The show brings a fantastic live celebration of one of rock music’s most successful artists of all time. All tickets for this event cost £25.50.
The compelling An Evening of Mediumship with Tony Stockwell takes to the stage on Wednesday 20 July at 7.30pm. Star of TV’s Street Psychic, Psychic Private Eyes and Psychic Academy, he has long established credibility as one of the top intuitive Mediums. Often described as incredibly detailed, Tony has shared the stage all around the world with top international mediums. All tickets for this event cost £21.50.
The Sound of Springsteen, the Best of the Boss, with their eight-piece tribute band brings years of live experience to Bruce Springsteen’s greatest hits, including Born in the USA, Glory Days and Streets of Philadelphia, to name a few. This show, on Friday 29 July at 7.30pm is not one to miss, with all tickets costing £24.50, and Spotlight Friends enjoying 10% off.
The Overtures return to the Spotlight for another sensational live performance on Saturday 3 September. After performing at Elton John’s wedding, he remarked to GQ Magazine, “The Overtures are the world’s finest 60s tribute act!” Members of the public are encouraged to find this out for themselves. The Overtures play every aspect of 60s museum from The Beatles and The Searchers through to the surf sound of The Beach Boys and the rhythm and blues of The Rolling Stones, not forgetting The Byrds, The Mamas and The Papas, Simon & Garfunkel and The Who. This is a standing event and all tickets cost £18.
Comedy is also on the Spotlight’s radar with the Jongleurs back on the road this year providing members of the public with a much-needed good laugh. Bringing the finest stand-up comedy to Hoddesdon on Friday 9 September, with four hugely hilarious acts, it’s due to be a fun-filled evening. All tickets cost £15.
