Broxbourne Council has announced RingGo as its new cashless provider for its car parks across the Borough.
The new service launches today (Friday 1 April) and residents will be able to pay for parking through the RingGo app, online and via telephone.
The free RingGo app can be downloaded onto smartphones via the App Store or Google Play. Drivers register their details, enter the location code for that car park, set the duration of parking and confirm the payment.
If drivers wish to extend their parking session, they can do so remotely from the app.
RingGo is the most popular cashless parking app in the UK operating in 450 towns and cities nationwide.
Signage has been on display in car parks notifying users of the change in provider since mid-March. From today, it will no longer be possible to purchase a session using PaybyPhone.
Payment can still be made via a machine situated in each car park via debit or credit card.
