Which premises require a gambling licence?
A gambling premises licence is required for the following:
- adult gaming centres
- betting shops
- bingo halls
- casinos
- family entertainment centres
- sporting or racing tracks
The Council is required to publish a statement of licensing policy and review it at least every three years. The policy also has further information on the application process, responsible authorities, interested parties and representations. You can view this as a PDF file:
