What you can do
A Right to Reply enables you to provide details of any actions that have been taken towards the required improvements, as detailed in the inspection letter from your food hygiene rating.
This account is then published on the Food Standards Agency site.
You can submit a Right to Reply if you want customers to know of any:
- unusual circumstances that lead to the rating
- improvements you have carried out since the rating
- planned improvements to before the next rating
You can submit your Right to Reply at any time before your next inspection, where you will receive a new food hygiene rating.
Alternatively, you can request a revisit or submit an appeal.
