A launch event to officially open the newly expanded facilities at the Waltham Cross Playing Fields.
The new facilities include a brand-new skate park from Maverick skateparks, an interactive rebound wall and a DJing set from Jupiter Leisure and Play, and state of the art outdoor gym equipment.
What will be at the event:
- Launch activities on the new skatepark, rebound wall, outdoor gym equipment and basketball activities held on the multi-use games area.
- 'Come and try' area in celebration of 12 years since the borough hosted the 2012 Olympics. This will feature loads of free and fun taster sports activities.
- Numerous free and fun children's activities inc bouncy castle, climbing wall and face painting.
- Healthy food options with a few treats available!
