Pay transparency statement
The Council publishes in its Annual Statement of Accounts:
- salaries, expenses and allowances
- fees and allowances
- benefits in kind
- compensation for loss of office
- pension contributions
- total remuneration excluding and including pension contributions
The accounts also show the budgets held by each senior officer, and changes to Chief Officers pay from the previous year.

Pay multiples
The relationship (pay multiple) between the salary paid to the highest paid chief officer and other staff is calculated in the following way:
