Grundy Park Regeneration

Grundy Park

The Grundy Park Regeneration project is now complete and was officially opened by the Mayor of Broxbourne, Councillor Sherrie McDaid on Friday 13 September.

The park now has a stronger connection with the historic Old Pond, and features a grand new entrance into the park from Turners Hill, an elegant landscaped garden, Edwardian-style sitting areas and a picturesque cast iron gazebo at its centre.

Sports facilities at the park were also upgraded with improved Astroturf pitches, new basketball courts and improved play areas for the younger members of the community.

The works were funded by Broxbourne Council and through financial contributions from developments taking place locally and will cost in the region of £1.3million.
