Broxbourne in Bloom is returning for HM Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. It is open to residents, businesses, schools and community groups, with three categories up for grabs.
The competition aims to encourage everyone in the Borough to contribute to our environment, to encourage community spirit and maintain a sense of pride in our surroundings. Every effort counts; even a small hanging basket can brighten up a dull corner!
The entry requirements are simple – all entries must be on public view in the Borough of Broxbourne and must be live plant material with no artificial enhancements. Entries must be ready for judging by the closing date. Photographs of entries may be used by Broxbourne Borough Council for publicity purposes.
There are three categories for the 2022 competition:
Best Front Gardens
This is open to all those bringing colour and creativity to the Borough. This category is for front gardens only.
Best Containers
This allows all the residents and businesses without gardens to take part in our Jubilee edition of Broxbourne in Bloom, such as residents living in flats. Containers includes hanging baskets.
Environmentally Friendly
To be in with a chance of winning in this category, make sure your entry champions sustainability.
How to enter:
You can enter just one of the three categories, or all of them! When you fill out your details on our website, you will need to provide your name, full address, email address and phone number. You will also need to confirm which of the categories you are entering.
The closing date for entries is Monday 4 July 2022. For more information about how the Council collects and protects your personal details, go to www.broxbourne.gov.uk/privacypolicy.
